I'll need to see the failed log session from the Class 2.0 and Class 1 mode to see if I can spot anything out of the ordinary. It both Class 1 and 2.0 fails, there's probably not really much you can do unless one of the parties changes to a different fax modem. The only other thing I can recommend for Class 1 mode is to limit the maximum fax receive speed using the /DIS:nnn switch (see BGFAX.DOC for information on how to set this /DIS:nnn switch--it's not straightforward.) Some fax modems, when talking to other fax modems, have problems at various speeds, so sometimes limiting the fax receive speed can cure the problem. Regards, bgfax author
