There is no way to go from FAX to ASCII with the BGFAX package. What you are requesting is OCR (optical character recognition), and it is a very complicated process. I don't expect to ever see an OCR program to come in the BGFAX package. I once checked into licensing an OCR program to include with BGFAX for registered users, but the company wanted $100 per copy, and since BGFAX costs only $25 per copy, you can probably see my delima. :-) Regards, bgfax author
