It was fun while it lasted, but I have no time for this any more.  We
had a nice, quiet Net 2222!  However, politics, badgering and nonsense
from outside our net have just taken all the fun out of FidoNet for
me.

Perhaps someday I'll reopen.

In the meantime, I'll see you on the 'net!

Sad to see you go.  You are the second person to mention net politics in
just last 24 hours.  Did something really big happen somewhere in just the
last week or so?
 
When I joined Fidonet a few years ago, I made certain to not even carry
any of the net politics and sysop echos (with the exception of my local
Net 106 echo).
