From: Andy Knifel To: All Thread: USR x2 V.Everything (1/7) Date: 15-Jun-97, 1:43pm (Ref# 5410) Could someone post their settings? I need the FD or IM settings for the x2 V.Everything. I also need the fax.bat. I believe it is FCO not FAX. Thanks in advance Andy Knifel --- TriToss (tm) Professional 11.0 - #138 * Origin: TriBBS File Distibution Network (1:107/451.0)

There is a text file in the BGFAX170.ZIP archive which details what to use for Courier modems. I have BGFax 1.70e, USR X2 v.everything, etc. Working fine here. The X2 upgrade did not seem to hurt the performance. Follow the instructions in the archive for FD settings and a USR Courier. ___ Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 [NR] --- TriToss (tm) v11.0 - #0 * Origin: Paradigm Shift East * (33.6 x2) * Mt. I used the settings in the doc's for FD & a USR, but when attempting to dial out, I get a busy signal, not like a normal busy, but a quick busy tone. This happens *while* it's still dialing the number, not afterwards.. :-) I've tried lowering the dialing speed, but that didn't help anything. Everything works fine if I send an ATZ, such as using KA9Q for FTPing. It's got to be something in the init.... any ideas? [FDSETUP] Modem -> Command Strings Dial ..... AT Prefix .. +FCLASS=0DT Init-1 ... ATZ| Init-2 ... AT+FCLASS=2.0| In the dial command above.. I still had ATDT rather than just AT :-( Thanks Bill --- GEcho/386 1.11+ * Origin: The Park ** Weedsport,NY ** USR V.FC 28.8 Line3 (1:260/362)
