From: Richard Ratledge To: All Thread: Bink/Zoom v.fc (1/9) Date: 22-Apr-97, 10:22pm (Ref# 5251) I am trying to receive faxes using the OS/2 versions of Binkley 2.60 and BGFax2 1.70. I am getting +FHNG: 0 as soon as it spawns BGFax. I am using a Zoom v.fc modem. Anybody have any idea what is going on? I used to be able to receive faxes into Binkley directly at one time but now I can't do that either. Perhaps it is a hardware problem? First the modem info. I did get the combination to work when I call in from my wife's separate machine which has a ZyXEL 1496b+ modem. Perhaps the problem was that I was trying to fax from one node to the other using the same system. In fact, I have BGFax working when the Zyx modem connects to either node. The other node has a Supra v34 modem on it. Now I need to find somone to test them with a regular fax machine. If it will work with a standalone fax, I think I will be almost home. :-) I don't know that I changed anything much. I did reboot the modem which fixes minor glitches with it sometimes. --- FleetStreet 1.19+ * Origin: * Madman BBS * Chico, California * 916-893-8079 * (1:119/88)
