I just tried 2 Days to make BGFAX2 and my new 1428VQE work with Maindoor/2 and SIO under Warp 3. Formerly I used a Zyxel U-1496E, it works without any Problems. Ok, registered BGFAX. Now I changed my modem to make V34 availible, but what happens: BGFAX is suddenly unable to recieve Fax because the DTE-shift from 38400 to 19200 didn't work. Tried several params like "!" and /DTE:38400 , no success. Searched through several echoareas and docus, and somewhere I found an hint about using SU.EXE from the SIO packet to unlock the port. Under OS/2 I'm using handels instead of ports, but I tried it and it works: DOFAX1.CMD C:\MB_SYST\SEMA\ExeFax1.CMD 0 2 705 3 EXEFAX1.CMD: [...] set BGFAX=c:\mb_syst\bgfax d:\sio\su.exe 2 LOCK 0 c:\mb_syst\bgFAX\BGFAX2 /fax c:\mb_syst\bgfax\faxe h%4 F /ED d:\sio\su.exe 2 LOCK 38400 echo FAX am %_Date um %_Time angekommen >>c:\mb_syst\sema\MDFAX.NOW [...] Wouldn't it be nice to have this hints in the docu? BTW, I had to use h%4 for the handle istead of h%3 as stated in the Docu. Always keep cool! MfG Sysop Axel --- timEd/2 1.10+ * Origin: Neues aus der ZENICA, Stuttgart (2:2471/1200)

The SU.EXE is described in the BGFAX READ.ME file under the OS/2 section. Which mailer were you using? I wasn't too clear. Lora uses h%3, MainDoor uses h%4, and Binkley uses h%3.
