RTC stands for "Return-To-Control".  It is a sequence that BGFAX received
in order to tell it it's hit the end of the fax page image stream.
 
If the modem signals and end of stream, but no actual RTC was detected,
this usually indicates that the image received is probably messed up, or
possibily, received in the backwards bit order.
 
If the backwards bit order is the problem, starting VIEW with the /BO
switch should let you view the fax.
