Is there any easy way to send multiple fax files to one number?

At the moment I have to redial the number for each fax; surely there's
an easier way?

You can convert the fax files to DCX files with VIEW, and then use MAKEFAX 
to merge them back together, i.e.,
 
view file1.fax /dcx
view file2.fax /dcx
view file3.fax /dcx
makefax file1.dcx+file2.dcx+file3.dcx output.fax
bgfax /send output.fax 555-1212

P.S. I agree, it's not elegant, but if you have a faster computer, it
won't be too bad.
